Summer 2020 BGSU-TAP Program Helps Local Nonprofits Write Grants

BGSU TAP- Training Alliance for the Public Good

This is a challenging time for local nonprofits – fundraisers cancelled, quarantines, economic downturn, more people than ever in need of help and social distancing has made many activities like recruiting volunteers even more difficult than usual? Bowling Green State University has launched a new program to try to help nonprofits in our region this summer.

The BGSU Center for Public Impact in partnership with the Master of Public Administration is launching the Summer 2020 BGSU-TAP Program (Training Alliance for the Public Good) which will help to support Northwest Ohio in COVID19 recovery and response.

Working under the supervision of Dr. Shannon Orr teams of graduate and undergraduate students at BGSU will receive intensive grant writing training and then write grants for local nonprofits who need support in applying for the many funding opportunities that have been created in our region.

There is no charge to nonprofits to receive grant writing services.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until July 15, or until all spots are filled.
