Sustainable Neighborhoods Grant Program: Sustainable Neighborhoods Grants are $1,000 grants available to do sustainability projects in neighborhoods across Lucas County. Funding will be awarded to groups or organizations looking to implement or continue projects that lead to increased sustainability for their neighborhood. A primary goal of this funding opportunity is to promote sustainability in our region through place-based engagement at neighborhoods. Arts Commission Safety and Beautification Grant for Uptown Residents: UpLift UpTown supports projects, programs, events, and other approaches that address safety, blight reduction, greening, and beautification efforts in Toledo’s UpTown neighborhood. Successful applications will address a specific need or area concern that contributes to increased perceptions of safety, reduce opportunities for crime, and contribute to enhancing the look, feel, and experience of the neighborhood. Supportive, inclusive, and impactful projects that take place in the 43604 zip code after July 1, 2021 will be supported. Current granting levels are $500 and $1000 per project.

Community Garden Grants Program: In partnership with Toledo GROWS and OSU Extension-Lucas County, the Toledo-Lucas County Sustainability Commission is awarding grants to support communities who are growing their own food.
