Development / Alumni Relations Coordinator (Maumee City Schools/Panther Pride Foundation)
Job Description:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive fund development plan.
2. Develop and execute capital and major gift campaigns.
3. Responsible for leading all donor cultivation, solicitation, and recognition.
4. Identify, assess, analyze, and design appropriate strategies for approaching prospects and donors and making the vitally important match between donors’ philanthropic interests and Maumee City Schools and Panther Pride Foundation priorities.
5. Responsible for monitoring and frequently reporting progress towards annual fund development targets. Facilitate the process of setting annual targets in collaboration with Maumee City Schools and the Panther Pride Foundation.
6. Attend events that bring together alumni, current donors, and potential donors to promote the Panther Pride Foundation, communicate giving opportunities, and approach potential prospects.
7. Attend district events that bring together staff, students, parents, grandparents, and family members to promote the Panther Pride Foundation, communicate giving opportunities, and cultivate a culture of giving for future generations.
8. Responsible for the development of giving societies, including an advisory committee, policies, and procedures, program events, as well as marketing and educational materials, including newsletters and annual reports.
9. Serve as the lead school district staff liaison to the Panther Pride Foundation Board.
10. Develop healthy and productive relationships with all internal stakeholders to advance and grow an internal culture and commitment to philanthropy.
11. Lead the work of the Foundation Board, consistently building relationships with Board members, staff and administration, student support groups, Alumni groups as well as community partners and donors.
12. Serve as an advocate for public education, most importantly, Maumee Schools and the Maumee community, and demonstrate a willingness to participate in school activities.
13. Become an expert in all aspects and capabilities of the donor software, utilizing it with fidelity.
14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all activities and donations with donor management software.
15. Proficient with website development and maintenance, including embedded donation apps/links.
