Pay: $38,000-$41,000 annually

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and some college. Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in education, social work or related field.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in team leadership, training, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff.
- Administrative experience including fiscal management.
- Computer skills including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database programs and communication.
- Knowledge of alternative education initiatives.
- Pass BCI/FBI background check.
- Will need to be CPR/First Aid certified along with Child Abuse and Communicable Diseases.
General Description:
Responsible for the direct oversight of the 21st Century Community Learning Center Afterschool program at Woodward High School in the Toledo Public School district. The Site Director is responsible for the implementation of the youth development and family engagement initiatives. This person is responsible for assisting with student academic success, communicating effectively with students/parents and school staff, helping lead enrichment and recreational activities, meal preparation and supervision of students. You must be available to work Monday thru Friday with non-traditional work hours. This may include nights and weekends for field trips or special events
General responsibilities include:
- Assure the delivery of quality programming at the program site.
- Assure compliance with all assigned grant management functions.
- Ensure the safe arrival and departure of students involved in the program.
- Provide leadership in the implementation of the services offered and ensure that youth development and family involvement initiatives are an essential element in the 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
- Partner with program staff to assure that all activities are aligned with the goals of the project and that staff strive to meet the needs of the population that the project serves.
- Work within the mandates of this project to assist with effective project evaluation and implementation of data-driven improvements that will continually allow the project to meet the needs of the participants and the community.
- Develop and nurture community partnerships.
- Collaborate and communicate with school principals, school staff, tutors, community agency and business partners who provide needed services to the project.

- Operate a program that is safe and enriching for High School students.
- Develop positive relationships with teens at risk.
- Meet or exceed job expectations.
- Safe, healthy and develop appropriate after school program for a diverse population of teens.
- Maintain and/or Increase in academic success in literacy and math.
- Maintain and/or Increase in the whole development of young adults.
- Maintain and/or Increase parent engagement/involvement at site.
