We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill a full-time Diagnostic Administrator position within our FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) program located in Perrysburg, OH. Ideal candidates must possess, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree, previous experience managing a physician’s office or be licensed in the state of Ohio to practice as an RN or LPN and demonstrated experience treating individuals ages 5-17 with developmental disabilities and cognitive issues. SUMMARY
The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Diagnostic Administrator oversees the planning, execution and communication for the FASD Clinic diagnoses under the direction of the Vice President, FASD. The Administrator will coordinate with the Program Director, Behavioral Health Counselors and FASD Clinic volunteers to ensure an effective, efficient and medically appropriate diagnosis.
This is a salaried position and, as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor, is categorized as an Administrative position. As such, this position is classified as exempt under the wage and hour regulations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and previous experience managing a physician’s office or licensed, in the State of Ohio, to practice as an RN or LPN .
  • Demonstrated extensive experience/knowledge in the treatment of individuals (5-17 years old) with developmental disabilities and cognitive issues; particularly with FASD or willing to learn about FASD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop, in conjunction with the Program Director, proposed objectives and needs for FASD diagnoses.
  2. Implement year-round programing that addresses client needs and meets all applicable standards.
  3. Work with the medical professional volunteers on the diagnostic team to ensure assessments are done within professional guidelines and in a timely fashion.
  4. Actively promote the prevention of FASD through awareness activities.
  5. Achieve personal productivity goals as assigned.
  6. Schedule assessments and handle all paperwork associated with review of individual cases, including completion of the medical summary report for each diagnosis.

  7. Possess and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  8. Demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in facilities with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.
