Finance & Office Coordinator

SQACC is looking for an excited individual to join our team and help in fulfilling the mission of SQACC.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance and previous Bookkeeping experience with a nonprofit
2. Knowledge and ability to work with QuickBooks Premier Non-Profit Edition 2019 (or similar)
3. Comfortable using Microsoft and Google suite, DonorView (or similar donor database) is a plus
4. Ability to work independently and make decisions according to policies and procedures
5. Positive demeanor and willing to be a team player and contribute to the overall mission of SQACC
6. Organized and able to manage general office duties
7. Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
8. Ability to adapt and solve problems
9. Bilingual is a plus (Spanish and English)

Performance Responsibilities:
1. Input financial data into QuickBooks based on the needs of SQACC (Income, expense, donations, grant
funds, Available funds, etc.)
2. Reconcile & categorize bank and credit card statements
3. Create & review reports such as Profit and Loss, Program budgets, A/R for board meetings and at the
request of the Executive Director, staff and/or Treasurer
4. Maintain confidentiality of financial records and general files
5. Work with the Executive Director and Finance Committee to develop a yearly budget
6. Responsible for actively following SQACC’s Fiscal Policies and Procedures
7. Responsible for ensuring yearly taxes and financial reviews are submitted in a timely manner
*Will work with a third-party CPA
8. Calculate and pay monthly sales tax (required for Liquor License)
9. Enter biweekly payroll through QuickBooks and track Paid Time Off
10. Responsible for invoicing vendors as well as collecting payments
11. Assist with fundraisers and events: Budgets, RSVP’s & ticket sales, silent auction
12. Attend weekly staff meetings
13. Assist in handling and organizing event and donor information using Donorview
14. Enter and track restricted funds (grants, donors) and reports
15. Other duties assigned by the Executive Director

We ask all positions to assist with general office duties such as but not limited to answering phones, checking
messages and welcoming community members into the office.

Terms: Hourly pay of $17.00 based on 20–25-hour work week
