Financial Literacy & Outreach Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
Financial Opportunity Centers (FOCs) are community-based organizations that focus on the financial bottom line for low-to-moderate income individuals by addressing people’s financial behavior in a way that encourages a long-term commitment to increasing income, decreasing expenses and acquiring assets. FOCs provide families with services across three areas: financial education and coaching; public benefits access and employment and career placement and development. These core services are integrated and presented to clients in a bundled fashion in order to reinforce and offer a multi-faceted approach to family stability, income and wealth building.

The Financial Literacy & Outreach Coordinator will provide support to FOC Coaches, NTR Management & Weatherization Customer Service Representatives including, but not limited to; assisting clients with enrollment in financial coaching services and communicating eligibility guidelines and policies of NeighborWorks Toledo Region® program offerings. This position will engage with a variety of NTR departments and partnering agencies to ensure that clients are receiving the desired assistance across the program offerings.
