House Manager
Assist in relaying the Values and Mission of Aurora Project, Inc., by supervising and overseeing all agency facilities. This position is key to the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the agency. The house manager should serve as a role model in her daily contact with program participants and the community.
Knowledge/Skills
1. Minimum HS diploma
2. Good organizational skills
3. Operation/management experience
4. Good communication skills
5. Knowledge of homelessness/substance use disorders/mental health
6. First aid/CPR preferred
7. Computer literate
Duties/Responsibilities
1. Supervise:
– House Monitors
– Facilities Volunteers
2. Coordinate volunteer activity as is related to the physical plant
3. Receive/coordinate non-monetary donations in coordination with Facilities Manager
4. Determine inventory needs
5. Must be well-organized
6. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
7. Must be team oriented
8. Must be computer proficient
9. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs easily
10. Follow policies/procedures of the organization
11. The ability to work with diverse populations a must
