LPN/RN – Part Time

Bittersweet Farms, a world-renowned leader in serving adults and adolescents with autism located in Whitehouse, Ohio, is seeking a Part Time LPN or RN to work to foster relationships with participants and staff by upholding dignity, respect and kindness. The LPN/RN will work to recognize the unique qualities and needs of each individual with autism and address those needs appropriately.

Duties include:

• Conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or Bittersweet’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly
• Execute plan of care that is individualized for the resident reflecting collaboration with other members of the nursing team
• Administer medication, vaccinations, wound dressings and care for other treatment options
• Ensure the MARS is checked weekly for all errors and discrepancies

Candidates should have strong critical thinking skills, be able to work independently, and possess a positive work ethic with patience, compassion, and flexibility required in a facility serving those with developmental disabilities.  Must possess current state of Ohio nursing license.
