Marketing Coordinator – Part time

Bittersweet Farms, a world-renowned leader in serving adults and adolescents with autism located in Whitehouse, Ohio, is seeking a Part time Marketing Coordinator to support our Development Director to plan, develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing and social media, public relations, and branding program.

The Marketing Coordinator will provide support essential to the daily functioning and success of the development department including:

  • Develop, oversee and manage Bittersweet Farms’ content creation, social media, and digital advertising strategies across several social media channels and over Bittersweet Farms’ locations: Whitehouse, Pemberville, and Lima
  • Work closely with Development Director to plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive social media, marketing, communications, and public relations strategy on behalf of Bittersweet, Inc.
  • Manage and create content for Bittersweet’s social media pages
  • Manage, protect and maintain the branding policies established by the organization
  • Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic marketing materials that communicate, inform and persuade
  • Coordination of volunteer opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of external environment as it relates to organizations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Maintain contact with organization’s staff regarding programs and plans

The right person will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Good organizational skills; well disciplined; able to meet deadlines; self-starter; able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines; able to attend to detail; and the ability to multitask on several projects across multiple locations. Must have excellent computer skills, including use of fundraising software as well as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop. Must have a valid driver’s license with eligibility to be insured.


  • This position will work 3 days per week in office
  • This is NOT a remote position
  • Typical working hours are between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
