Job Details
The Network Administrator (Office 365) administers and maintains information technology systems (including Server, LAN/ WAN and VoIP Systems). Provides additional support as needed to IT staff to support all systems and technology use while assisting in management of day to day operations.
- Performs required software/ hardware troubleshooting, patches, and software installations.
- Troubleshoot user Internet access issues from end to end.
- Deliver timely and high-quality incident resolution focusing on root cause analysis and prevention
- Active directory and Group policy knowledge and Microsoft IIS server administration,
- Configure and maintain mailboxes, including email forwarding, shared mailboxes, and email security settings to ensure secure and efficient email communication.
- Implement and manage Office 365 compliance features, including data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Administer SharePoint Online, including site creation, configuration, and management, to facilitate collaboration and document management across the organization.
- Oversee the deployment and management of Microsoft Teams, including team creation, policy configuration, and integration with other Office 365 services to enhance internal communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 services and connectivity issues, using tools like the Microsoft 365 admin center and PowerShell scripts to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Manage the Office 365 deployment, including software updates, version control, and user installation options to ensure that users have access to the latest productivity tools.
- Operating system maintenance –Operating system configuration & troubleshooting.
- Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks
- Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, security, and installation.
- Coordinates third-party maintenance for hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
- Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users.
- Responsible for local server and network inventory maintenance.
- Provides On-Call support as required
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge and strong experience with TCP/IP networking
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- Associates degree in Information Technology – network or systems administration is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of network administration experience with strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Ability to be a self-starter with little supervision
- Hands on experience and strong knowledge with Hyper-V environment, business class firewalls and switching
- Solid Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2012 and more recent), MS Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, network design and implementation.
- Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and Proof of auto Insurance
- Pass criminal background, drug screen and physical
