Office Manager
Have accounting experience but looking for a job that is more fulfilling? The Victory Center is the region’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free programs and services to cancer patients and survivors. We are looking for an Office Manager to complete our team and play an integral role in our day-to-day operations at the Toledo office. Competitive wages, health insurance, and generous PTO.
Specifically, we are looking for someone to assume these regular tasks:
- Bookkeeping

- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards monthly
- Prepare and maintain records of all receipts and disbursements
- Prepare documentation for annual audit
- Reconcile event income and prepare reports as needed
- Make bank deposits
- Verify and pay all bills
- Manage retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records
- Plan and implement office systems and equipment procurement
- Fund Development Support

- Manage and update the donor management database
- Ensure donors receive timely acknowledgements with proper IRS information
- Prepare and print fund development and financial reports as requested
- Office Management
- Guarantee adequate stock of all office supplies
- Maintain records and prepare 1099s for vendors as required
- Serve as liaison with operations-related vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate repairs and/or service calls for agency
Minimum qualifications for position: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of accounting experience. Must have experience reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and working with auditors. Must be very proficient in QuickBooks, as well as Excel. Detail oriented and well organized. Ability to adhere to deadlines. Experience with a non-profit organization and donor databases is preferred.
