Philanthropy Coordinator
SGM is in search of a Philanthropy Coordinator whose home office will be located either at the SGM Toledo Metro Office or the SGM Headquarters Office in Deshler, Ohio. Hybrid opportunities are available (with both remote and in-person expectations). Off-site community outreach and funding event attendance is required. This individual will work closely with Kelly Gerken, the Founder and President of SGM, as well as other members of the Fundraising and Development team. During the initial mentoring training phase, new hires are expected to spend most of their time in the Deshler office as they learn SGM Procedures and to tell the story of SGM. Your efforts to gain community connection and raise necessary funds will help our organization to continue to make an everlasting impact on families experiencing the loss of a baby. Please note that while the job description is outlined below, there may be times when responsibilities overlap and we must help one another; especially in the event that a project takes precedence. We all help with events, keeping the office in order, and assisting in various ways as needed. As a non-profit organization, with many amazing volunteers joining together for this wonderful mission, all paid staff are asked to also volunteer a limited portion of their time for SGM. One of the most important qualities we are looking for in an individual is a servant heart that understands the mission and values of this organization. We value a passionate heart that is invested in this sacred work.
