About Us:

Cherry Street Mission Ministries (CSMM) is a dynamic and innovative faith-based organization that operates services for single adults facing homelessness and people in our community who are struggling to break the cycles of poverty. CSMM is committed to eradicating poverty (Body, Mind and Spirit) in individuals’ lives. CSMM operates using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability across our organization. This position requires a skilled and dedicated individual to serve as President with a strong financial background and operational experience to lead our executive team and help us achieve our vision.

 

 

Position Summary:

The President is a key leadership role responsible for harmonizing and synchronizing all the major functions of the business, ensuring everyone is rowing together in the same direction. This role involves overseeing the financial reporting and accounting, driving accountability, maintaining focus on achieving business goals, and executing the company’s goals as defined by the Leadership Team. The President is essential for the seamless operation of the EOS, translating the CEO’s vision into actionable plans and ensuring consistent and efficient execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial/Business Office Management:

·        Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business office to ensure the achievement of organizational financial goals.

·        Ensure proper financial accountability and controls

·        Ensure all major functions of the company are working together effectively. Faithfully execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.

Strategic Execution:

Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans, translating high-level ideas into detailed, actionable steps.

 

Team Leadership and Development:

·        Lead, manage, and hold departmental leaders accountable for achieving their objectives.

·        Foster a high-performance culture by coaching and developing team members.

Process Optimization:

·        Implement and maintain efficient processes and systems to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

·        Identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues hindering progress.

Performance Monitoring:

·        Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards goals.

·        Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the CEO and other stakeholders.

·        Ensure that everyone is truly following and adhering to the company’s core processes and operation system with consistency.

Problem Solving:

·        Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues.

·        Resolve issues effectively, seeing real problems being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner

·        Ensure the Leadership Team is healthy, functional, and cohesive.

·        Make informed decisions to keep the organization on track.

Communication:

·        Facilitate effective communication across the organization.

·        Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization.

·        Ensure alignment and understanding of company goals and priorities.

·        Act as a representative of the organization in lieu of the CEO

Qualifications
·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

·        Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within an EOS-driven organization.

·        Strong operational management skills with a track record of successful strategic execution.

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·        Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

·        Experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.

·        Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

·        Proficiency in using EOS tools and methodologies is highly desirable.

Lifting Requirements

·        Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
