The Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating regional council-sponsored events to serve Girl Scouts in grades K-12 and adult volunteers.  This person will also cultivate and oversee a portfolio of community-based partnerships, guiding external organizations to align their program opportunities with GSUSA’s National Program.  Additionally, the Program Manager will manage Girl Scout program volunteers and administrative committees, support the administration of volunteer-led day camps for the council.  This person will also develop resources that align with ongoing council initiatives and support implementation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.  The hourly rate for this position is $16.82 with a very comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements for the position are:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  •  Ability to work in a team environment with commitment to contributing to the organizational goals.
  •  Highly organized primarily as it relates to time management and prioritization.
  •  Very developed written and oral communication skills.
  •  Skilled in setting expectations and maintaining accountability as it relates to managing projects.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  •  Able to work evenings and weekends.
  •  Must possess a valid state driver’s license and functioning vehicle.
  •  Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check as required by Ohio law.
