St Paul’s is looking for a Secretary for the Shelter to be responsible for handling administrative tasks for the Agency (front- desk duty, greeting visitors at main door, answer and direct phone calls, process daily mail and donations). Coordinates with administrative and residential staff for assigned and other miscellaneous special projects. The person in this position will also be updating files and data bases. This person maintains agency logs, process required reports, assisting with shelter tasks and performs other general office duties.

Ability to write and communicate clearly and professionally is essential. A pleasant personality with strong communication skills is highly valued. Candidates must be highly proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Power-point and Publisher.

Education requirements: High School or equivalent plus four years related experience; Associates degree plus two years of experience. Must have ability to take direction from multiple managers and assist in the daily operations of the agency. At least one year administrative experience in related field is preferred. Mental Health experience is a plus.

Pay: $11.00 per hour
