Bittersweet Farms is a world renowned leader in serving individuals with autism. We are seeking a full time Retail Coordinator. This position is responsible for product delivery, sales, inventory, and accounting. This position is responsible for the oversight of the “Market at Bittersweet Gardens”, Mobile Venture Unit, as well as other Bittersweet product sales. The Retail Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activity, production, and progress of Bittersweet products.

Responsibilities for the position include:

·Oversight and coordination of all Bittersweet production areas including: Bittersweet Gardens, Culinary Department, Creative Arts Department, and all other products of the agency

·Ensure that processes and procedures are established and followed to produce top quality produce and products

·Manage techniques, quality, cost analysis, complete and on-time production, safety, customer satisfaction, sales, inventory, and growth for all products

·Establish a positive working relationship with local greenhouses, nurseries, local markets, art studios, special events, restaurants and other similar businesses to help promote purpose and mission on the farm

·Implement approaches to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, improving processes, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes

· Work with the Day Program and function as a Direct Support Professional as needed

· Must be flexible to meet programmatic and operational needs

· First shift position with occasional evenings and weekends for special events, fairs, festivals, etc.

The right person must have good communication skills, Microsoft office Suite proficiency, and accounting skills. Experience in accounting or business software is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required with a degree in business management/administration, finance, economics, or marketing preferred. Five years’ experience working in retail, merchandising, or production will be considered in lieu of a degree. At least 1 year of retail experience required, two or more years preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities is strongly desired.
