Toledo Food Pantry Program Associate

CLASSIFICATION:

Part Time

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Work in conjunction with Coordinator to evaluate and plan for continued/enhanced pantry operations.
  • On days of distribution, coordinate client registration process.
  • Contract/arrange for additional food resources from businesses.
  • Work with agency personnel on grants, food acquisition and distribution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education
  • Ability to work with others
  • Knowledge and understanding, or ability to learn, HIPPA, ODADAS, ODMH and COA regulations.
  • Background screening, including OBCI fingerprints, drug test, and reference checks, is required.
  • General computer knowledge/operation.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and evaluate work duties/processes.
  • Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving history is required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the lead user of Pantry Track software
  • On days of distribution in Toledo, work alongside volunteers to complete registration processes,
  • Research, contact and arrange for pick up of additional food resources from area businesses.
  • Assist volunteers with stocking and distribution tasks.
  • Attend continuing education as related to position.
  • Work cooperatively with agency personnel in pursuit of program excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
