Purpose:
The Vice President of Operations will be a key leader within the organization, responsible for the oversight and efficient operation of core organizational functions including accounting and finance, compliance, facilities (maintenance, food and environmental services), human resources, and information technology (IT). The Vice President will work closely with the Leadership team to ensure the organization operates smoothly and effectively in support of its mission.

Essential Functions: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
· Leadership & Strategy:
o Collaborate with the CEO and President and Leadership team to define and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals. o Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative, mission-focused culture. o Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance issues. · Accounting and Finance: o Oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with all financial reporting, budgeting, grant and auditing requirements. o Work with the accounting office to develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and alignment with organizational priorities. o Monitor and report on financial performance, providing regular updates to the President and CEO. o Ensure the organization’s operations comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies. · Facilities and Maintenance: o Oversee all functions related to Food Services, Environmental Services, Facility Management, Project Management, Fleet management, ensuring these areas operate efficiently and meet organizational standards. o Develop and manage facility-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance. o Lead the procurement and management of facility services, including contracts, equipment, and supplies. · Human Resources: o Provide strategic oversight to human resources functions, including recruitment, retention, performance management, training, and professional development. o Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that supports employee well-being, growth, and retention. · Information Technology (IT): o Oversee the organization’s relationship with its IT vendor.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or related field
· 5+ years of practical experience at leadership level |
