Special Events Director

TOLEDO CULTURAL ARTS CENTER AT THE VALENTINE THEATRE

 

The Toledo Cultural Arts Center at the Valentine Theatre is looking for an experienced Special Events Director to assist with all aspects of front of house events as well as catering needs for national tours.

The Special Events Director will be responsible for:

Contracting corporate, not for profit front of house rentals, and other special events

Bar management including inventory, purchasing, pricing, and staffing

Managing the lobby set-up for all events

Assisting with the handling of food and beverage needs for the national tours

Preparing and managing yearly budgets

The qualified candidate must have extensive experience in special events planning and execution and be available for weekend, weekday, and weeknight work.  The Valentine Theatre has an extensive performance schedule of rentals and performances for our various series’ with programming that includes up to 42 weeks per year.

This position begins in January of 2023.

Salary: negotiable and commensurate with experience
