Membership and Data Assistant
The National Museum of the Great Lakes seeks a detail-oriented individual for a part-time data entry and customer support position. Qualified individuals should be highly organized and have the ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate should also have strong written, communication, and customer service skills. Although not required, a working knowledge of DonorPerfect software, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive / G-Suite products is a plus, along with a passion for and/or interest in history, museums, and/or the Great Lakes.
Duties
- Process incoming data (from front desk, mail, online, etc.) and manage outgoing member and donor communications (membership renewals/cards other mailed communication)
- Assist with customer service to NMGL / GLHS members and donors
- Assist with volunteer coordination and with other various museum needs
Additional Information
This position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week). Hours and days worked are flexible, but the position requires the individual to work at the museum’s office 4-5 days per week. Pay is $17 – 20 per hour based on experience.
