Membership Sales Director
Overview:
The Rotary Club of Toledo, one of the largest Rotary Clubs in the world, is seeking a dynamic and driven Membership Sales Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering community engagement, dedicated to promoting the values of Rotary, and adept at cultivating relationships with individuals and corporations alike.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Individual Memberships:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new individual members to the Rotary Club of Toledo.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective members through networking events, community outreach, and targeted communication efforts.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to individuals interested in joining the club, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Corporate Memberships:
- Identify and engage businesses and organizations within the Toledo area interested in corporate membership opportunities.
- Collaborate with company executives and decision-makers to articulate the benefits of corporate membership with the Rotary Club of Toledo.
- Customize membership packages to meet the needs and objectives of corporate partners, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
- Corporate Sponsorships:
- Actively seek out corporate sponsors for club meetings, newsletter ads, and club events.
- Develop sponsorship packages that offer value to sponsors while supporting the initiatives and programs of the Rotary Club of Toledo.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with club leadership, including the President Elect, to align membership sales strategies with the overall goals and objectives of the Rotary Club of Toledo.
- Communicate regularly with club members to provide updates on membership initiatives, solicit feedback, and promote engagement.
- Represent the Rotary Club of Toledo at community events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and attract potential members and sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or membership recruitment, preferably within a nonprofit organization or association.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for growth, and develop innovative solutions to achieve objectives.
