Quality Data Analyst
Neighborhood Health Association (NHA), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is the largest community health center system in Northwest Ohio with partnerships that include ProMedica, Mercy Health, and University of Toledo Medical Center. NHA has grown from a single location in 1969 to 12 medical and dental clinics throughout Lucas County. Today we operate multiple health centers including pediatrics, adult medicine, dental services, health care for the homeless, women’s health center, senior centers and a full service pharmacy with lab services on site.

We are currently seeking a full-time Data Analyst position to join our Quality team.
Job Duties
This position requires high proficiency in Excel utilizing such as graphs, pivot tables and report writing tools.
Proficient at accessing data and presenting in formats for analysis and presentation to departmental leadership.
Develops queries, writes reports, and presents findings; translates report requirements in specifications and use the reporting tool to generate data extract that can be rendered into identified output format
Filters, cleans data and validates reports by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct reporting problems
Extracts and analyzes data to support the organization’s decision making processes
Provides recommendations to management and QI Director based on professional expertise, data analytics, and insights regarding the improvement of care and organizational systems
Coordinates with clinical employees regarding data reporting, including data pulls from queries specific to UDS, MU, PCMH and FTCA
Coordinates with internal and external points of contact for resolution of data or system errors or problems.
Three (3) years of clinical Quality and Performance Improvement; and Reporting preferred
Minimum of six (6) months experience using an electronic health record system
Knowledge of QI and/or Total Quality Management theory and practices preferred
Must have exceptional analytical skills
Ability to operate a PC/laptop computer with the ability to effectively enter and retrieve information from a computer
Effective communication skills at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills. Must be able to work independently and with little or no supervision
Well organized, self-motivated, and able to work well with others
Valid OH Driver License & reliable transportation due to travel to clinic locations in the Toledo area
Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
Fluency in Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel, experience with relational databases, statistical software (SAS, SPSS, etc.) is strongly desired.
Monday through Friday schedule, no nights, weekends or holidays.
