Part-Time Custodian

Lial Catholic school is looking for a part-time custodian to begin July 1, 2024. This part-time position, with flexible afternoon/evening hours (15 hours per week), is shared with another part-time custodian. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and candidates must successfully complete the VIRTUS course and a background check.

Responsibilities include:

• Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash pick-up
• Sanitizing, window washing and wiping down desks, tables and chairs
• Bathroom cleaning and sanitation
• Supply restocking/maintain supplies
• Cleaning projects as assigned
• Ensure compliance with requirements set by OSHA, EPA, state and local fire,
  health, and building inspectors
• Keep utility closets and supply rooms clean and in order
• Mow grass, trim bushes, pull weeds when needed, and shovel walks when there is a snowfall during school hours
