Administrative & Data Support

Toledo Tomorrow is an Education non-profit, driven to help the youth and families of the Toledo area that need and deserve assistance.  We are making very meaningful impact, and are driven to increase those results as we expand.  Our deep partners range from local school districts to the State of Ohio.  We perform college & career access work, including meaningful financial aid & scholarship assistance; and now serve as a cradle-to-career backbone organization to support other education efforts in our communities.  This role will play a key part in helping further our mission.  We are looking for a (close to) full-time candidate to fill an administrative support role.

  • Support daily functioning of the office. Provide general administrative support services to leadership & staff as requested.
  • Exhibit organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with bookkeeping and accounting activities where requested.
  • Create and maintain a newsletter & donor database.
  • Assist with preparation for meetings, including board meetings.
  • Manage meeting schedules.
  • Monitor and report grant funds; assist with grant applications and research as needed.
  • Create and distribute the organization’s newsletter.
  • Assist with technology set up as needed.
  • Organize and update tracking spreadsheets.
  • Monitor the copy area, sort and distribute packages, as well prepare outgoing mail. Ensure professional appearance of the office through organization and supplemental cleaning as needed.

Qualifications: Associate degree in Administration, Business and/or Human Resources preferred. Prefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ administrative experience. Software proficiency including Microsoft Office programs and Google Workspace Suite, maintaining databases and navigating websites and online media. Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to format and write letters. The candidate must work in the office independently and collaboratively. Some non-profit experience is helpful. Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks. It is preferred that the candidate have an insured vehicle to utilize for incidental transportation required for supply purchase, off-site meetings and occasional transportation to activities.
