Position

LISC Toledo is seeking a skilled and experienced individual passionate about strengthening communities through effective, thoughtful, and equitable community development programs and investments to implement and support LISC’s mission and local priorities. The Assistant Program Officer (APO) is responsible for supporting the management of community economic development and housing strategies and investments in coordination with partners to achieve economic mobility through entrepreneurship and homeownership opportunities. In addition, duties include effectively assisting and coordinating with the LISC National teams and programs to leverage resources and opportunities to enhance the local priorities.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Program Officer will be responsible for utilizing community development strategies, resources, and tools to support the implementation of a targeted neighborhood approach. The APO will be well organized, proactive, handle multiple tasks and manage priorities, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and work well with others.
