Business Operations Manager

Sunshine Communities is excited to recruit for the new position of Business Operations Manager at our beautiful Maumee campus. This position is responsible for providing the management, deployment and support to a team of schedulers and second and third shift supervisors while working in conjunction with the Director of Business Operations to manage and maintain an accurate and efficient agency master schedule template and performance program while promoting positive communication between management, staff and operations.

  • Meets regularly with supervisors, human resources and program managers to review schedules, discuss changes, new hires, vacation/personal time requests, FMLA/leave of absence, training, and other factors that affect schedules.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports and maintains regular contact with all agency departments regarding recognized staffing patterns (shortages, pattern of call offs, needed supports, etc.)
  • Hire, train, mentor and lead scheduling coordinators and supervisors in conjunction with Director
  • Handle any staff scheduling complaints and provide positive feedback in a timely manner to all staff.
  • Consistently interprets and implements Sunshine policies and procedures and continually looks for ways to streamline processes in conjunction with Director.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience with DODD
  • Master Scheduling template experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory or management experience
  • 18 years or older
  • Able to pass criminal background check and drug-screen
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto-insurance
