Development Director


The Development Director serves as the lead for agency fund development, assisting the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors in creating a multi-year plan to generate revenue to support agency growth. The Development Director will be responsible for the creation, implementation and management of an annual strategic fundraising plan (which includes annual fund, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation partnerships). The Development Director will actively manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting high-level prospective donors to assist the agency in reaching budget goals.  The Development Director also assures the advancement and maintenance of all appropriate systems of fund development.

Bachelor’s degree is required. CRFE preferred. Five years of fundraising experience with soliciting and closing charitable gifts of $20,000 or higher. Proven success with leading comprehensive annual funds.  Demonstrated proficiency with working in donor databases. Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000.  Benefits Available.
