Career Opportunity: Executive Director with Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity in Maumee, OH

As the Executive Director for Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity (MVHFH), you will be responsible for the operation and leadership of the entire organization, supervision of direct staff, leadership of the broader team, management of fiscal responsibilities, and the consistent achievement of the organization’s mission. You will work collaboratively with the Board to execute board policy and goals as well as provide support to subcommittees that oversee various functions of the organization.

This is both a public and internal facing position that requires the ability to build collaborative partnerships and external strategic alliances with other community organizations, faith-based organizations, local officials, and business and community leaders. You will act as the principal spokesperson for the affiliate within the community and with other external groups.

Other requirements include:
• A bachelor’s degree/credentials in appropriate field or equivalent experience required, advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role, including fundraising and direct supervisory experience. Not for profit experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing both short- and long-range strategic plans, project management, organizing, and change management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills including presentations to groups, written communication, other verbal communication to staff, the Board, and other constituents.
• Proven and demonstrated track record of driving results within other organizations.
• Experience as an effective builder of high performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, general computer expertise such as email and social media platforms; ability to learn and execute various software databases and systems.
• Willingness to attend training and conferences as appropriate.

As a Christian ministry, we also strive to keep God at the Center of all that we do.
Annual Salary Range: $121,000 to $148,000
