Executive Director

Chicks for Charity – Executive Director

Job Overview

Chicks for Charity is returning as a 501c3 and we’re looking for an Executive Director who is passionate about helping girls and women of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds find the JOY and DIGNITY in being philanthropic … and giving back. Currently, we are developing a multi-pronged approach that will provide our members with several opportunities to give back and also experience the myriad of benefits of incorporating philanthropy into their daily lives.

Chicks for Charity is not new. From 2006 to 2016, a group of more than 1,500 girls, women and community members raised $1 million in cash, goods, services and media placements for The Furniture Bank, Beach House Family Shelter, Assistance Dogs, Shared Lives Art Studio, The Victory Center, International Boxing Club, Mom’s House and Unruly Arts.

Now with our 501c3 pending, we are ready to grow even further and are looking for an experienced fundraiser and leader to drive the strategy and growth of our newly revitalized organization.

In addition to overseeing fundraising initiatives, the Executive Director will oversee a series of programs and grant opportunities directed at enhancing giving opportunities for our members. The perfect candidate will be passionate about furthering our mission, working directly with our board, overseeing an active group of volunteers and supervising an administrative assistant.

Experience with motivating teams, overseeing budgets and public relations/communications will be important. This position will have a revenue accountability of approximately $300,000.
