Manager of Business Operations

Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO), a non-profit law firm serving low-income persons, seeks a Manager of Business Operations. This position, based out of LAWO’s Toledo office, offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to support a critically needed community resource. The Manager of Business Operations reports to the Executive Director and has significant responsibilities for the operations of LAWO.

Responsibilities include:
•Manage the administrative operation of LAWO’s offices
•Identify, develop, and implement operation business plans, including identifying and monitoring key metrics
•Oversee the procurement of goods and services
•Oversee and ensure compliance with the requirements of major funding sources
•Manage the implementation of grants and fee-for-service contracts
•Oversee LAWO’s technology services and projects; provide analysis and recommendations to obtain strategic objectives

Experience and Qualifications:
•A strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and race equity & LAWO’s mission
•Experience with program administration
•Experience with the oversight of fee for service contracts and regulatory compliance; federal grant administration is a plus
•Degree in Business required
•Experience in nonprofit management or a related field required; experience in a senior management position preferred
•Experience in strategic planning; qualification in project management (PMP certification) or equivalent project management experience
•Experience addressing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion required; demonstrated ability to work with persons from different cultural backgrounds is essential.
•Excellent communication skills are necessary along with the ability to learn quickly and to work hard, independently, efficiently and under pressure.
•Juris Doctor preferred, but not required.

Competitive salary based on relevant experience ($85,000-$115,000), and comprehensive fringe benefits.
