Pantry Coordinator
Position Responsibilities The Pantry Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
-Working all open pantry hours
-Maintaining inventory at the pantry
-Timely ordering from Seagate or other sources
-Identifying deficits in existing pantry stock
-Rotating out expired or spoiled items
-Making adjustments to order based on need
Coordinating volunteers:
-Training new and existing volunteers supervising all volunteers during pantry operations
-scheduling and recruiting volunteers, to include ensuring the pantry is adequately staffed but not over-staffed
-Complete a volunteer training manual
-Clean office and pantry space weekly
-Maintain client database and reporting requirements to Seagate and Equality Toledo board
-Keep up-to-date on all Seagate documentation and reporting requirements
-Weekly check-in with Deputy Director
-Report monthly to the Deputy Director on pantry operations
-Additional duties as assigned Position Guidelines Compensation.
The Pantry Coordinator will work pantry hours, plus additional administration work and food pick-ups.
This is a contracted offering at $15 an hour for 10 hours per week.
