Payroll Specialist

Sunshine Communities has a new career opportunity open. We are hiring a qualified Payroll Specialist to join our accounting and finance department. This Part-time position is primarily responsible for payroll processing bi-weekly and submitting payroll withholdings and taxes to the appropriate federal, state and local agencies. Other duties include posting payments to our accounts receivable system and providing backup duties of other finance team members.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree is preferred, must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of prior payroll experience is a plus
  • Must pass criminal background check, drug-screen and pre-employment physical
  • Must have valid driver’s license and auto-insurance
  • 18 years or older
