Program Director

The Program Director, in partnership with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, is responsible is responsible for managing and evaluating the facility-based residential program, assuring the provision of active treatment services for all residents as mandated by local, state and federal regulations.
Job responsibilities include:
- Manages all aspects of the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Directs and monitors implementation and documentation of services according to Individual’s Program Plan (IPP).
- Manages future off-site services provided to individuals in community-based settings.
- Hires, supervises and develops staff. Conducts regular performance appraisals and is responsible for corrective action.
- Responsible for compliance with local, state and federal regulations and standards.
- Is liaison between the organization and other community-based companies, families and guardians. Also monitors referrals to community service companies.
- Provides direct services to the individuals when necessary.
- Coordinates the services of contractual consultants including occupational, psychological, speech services, programmatic and other services that individuals are receiving.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in related field
- Previous experience managing an ICF and/or community living a plus
- A minimum of three years experience working with adults with ID/DD
- A minimum of two years experience working with Medicaid regulations
- Must have a valid driver license and current liability automobile insurance
