Support Navigator
The Victory Center (TVC) is seeking to hire a Part-Time (20 hour a week) Support Navigator whose job is to ensure consistency and continuity for every new participant at TVC. This position sets the tone for each newcomer’s experience through their welcoming greeting, empathy, and caring assistance. The Support Navigator will be asked to work primarily in the Toledo office, with some days at the Perrysburg satellite location.
Specific responsibilities include: conducting Welcome Orientations with new clients, processing paperwork and filing, making care calls to participants when needed, assisting with answering calls and setting up appointments, inputting schedules into scheduling software, maintaining integrity of database and running reports.
We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma who has exceptional computer skills, particularly with word processing, databases, and scheduling software. We need someone with a pleasant personality who is a good listener, patient and willing to assist with compassion. Applicants should be well-organized, a quick learner, and cooperative. Experience in a nonprofit environment or with medical patients is preferred, though not necessary.
