Temporary Attorney
Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO), a non-profit law firm that provides high-quality legal assistance to low-income eligible individuals and groups in western Ohio, seeks a resourceful, culturally competent, hardworking attorney. This position will be located in the Toledo office.
This position will focus on representing survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in civil protection order, custody, and divorce proceedings. Previous experience in family law and representing people living in poverty helpful.
Excellent legal and communication skills; experience with computer software and Microsoft Office; ability to relate well with people living in poverty; and commitment to legal services required. Remote work is likely; however, court appearances are required. Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is helpful. Membership in Ohio Bar required.
